PS- In addition to my previously submitted question, I'd like to state that I'm a member and I've searched the website high and low for the members forum and couldn't find it. Is it staring me right in the face? It very well could be a case of UOE (user operating error) ;-) When I saw people were asking their questions here I wondered if possibly the Guestbook was being used as the forum.

Hi there! I have written a manuscript for a picture book but I'm not an illustrator. (Why did I do that to myself?) Since my vision for the book would use illustration as part of the narration does anyone have any suggestions for how to submit? Should I hire an illustrator to do some rough sketches so I can make a dummy to submit? Without illustrations the manuscript wouldn't look like much on paper. I want to avoid the dreaded proposal letter explaining concept of the book and jus tlet it speak for itself. What to do? Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Published book 1975...returned to writing Picture books.....3 manuscripts out...... Is getting a agent a good idea or not..... love your opinions
